Após o término do Oasis, Liam Gallagher resolveu continuar sendo foda na música mesmo sem o seu irmão, o Noel. Junto com Gem Archer, Andy Bell e Chris Sharrock ele formou  a Beady Eye!
Já falei sobre a banda num post anterior, mas só agora eles lançaram sua primeira música: “Bring the Light“.

A primeira impressão que tive foi de uma puuuta mudança se comparada ao som de Oasis, mas gostei! Tem uma pegada bem rockabilly e um baixo firme, sabe? Um som diferente do que vemos por aí… Gostei, gostei e espero ouvir mais em breve!

Isso mesmo, Liam anunciou que sua ‘nova’ banda levará este nome, termo que significa “olho atento”.
A banda é formada por todos os ex’s integrantes do Oasis [exceto o Noel, né]: Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Chris Sharrock e, claro, Liam Gallagher.

Já estão inclusive no estúdio trabalhando em material inédito com o produtor Steve Lillywhite [Rolling Stones, The Smiths, U2 e Talking Heads…]
